Emma Talbot (b. 1969, UK) is a London-based artist. She is interested in how fragmented imagery corresponds to the fleeting quality of thought and imagination, with the aim to capture an internal narrative: the preoccupying thoughts that shape one’s own experience of being. She was awarded the MaxMara Art Prize for Women in 2020/2021 and recent solo exhibitions include Gemeentemuseum, The Hague (2019) and ‘Your Own Authority’, a commission by Art Night for the William Morris Gallery, London (2019).
