Rebecca Byrne (b. 1968, USA) is an American artist from Chicago; currently living and working in London. She works in immersive site-specific installations on paper, as well as in a smaller scale on canvas and aluminum. Byrne creates uncanny and fantastical landscapes that are snapshots of nature in flux and reference images of extinct and existing plant life, presenting a tale of resilience with a note of caution about our future. Byrne received an MA in Fine Art from the Chelsea College of Art.
