Sikelela Owen (b. 1984, UK) is a London based painter. Both in her choice of subject and in her use of paint, she strips away all external noise and focuses only on what matters in a kind of emotional essentialism. Owen studied at Royal Academy Schools and has exhibitied internationally including HSBC Space, London; People Everyday, NAM Project, Milan; and Nyacomba, Vernon Mills, Manchester.
